The Product Pricing Analyst will be responsible for driving the analysis and execution of product pricing and promotion optimization across online and offline channels.  The position will be measuring and reporting results and ensuring maximization of profits across the portfolio.  The position will also participate in product innovation research including development of business cases, forecasting and ad-hoc analyses. 



  1. Merchandise assortment and optimize all product categories including revenue performance and margin/profit analysis
  2. Work with Director of Product Solutions to determine which products will be featured/promoted in each channel to optimize appeal and conversion
  3. Develop pricing strategies with the goal of maximizing the firm’s profits while ensuring customers are satisfied
  4. Work with data sources to develop reports and strategic insights used to improve performance of promotions, analyze results and recommend future projects, products, or SKUs as well as pricing
  5. Manage assigned projects, products, part numbers or SKU?s through the various stages of the lifecycle.
  6. Monitor trends, conduct research and develop business cases for new products and services
  7. Develop and leverage relationships across the organization and work effectively with key subject matter experts.

Position Description:

Purpose of position

Job Description

-Interact with the user community to gather and document business requirements, conduct process analysis, and draft conceptual design.

-Create technical specifications and detailed software design documentation based on business requirements.

-Ability to design, code, test, and install complex computer programs based on technical specifications using the ERP development environment and the ERP developer’s toolset (currently PeopleSoft and PeopleTools).

-Perform data mapping, conversion testing, and end-user documentation.

Required Qualifications

Principle Responsibilities include:

· Create and manage web site wireframes, use cases, and data models by working with product managers, analysts and developers to enhance the feature set and performance of high-volume e-commerce websites.

· Develop thorough, realistic IA plans that support business needs and objectives.

· Understand business requirements and goals and help capture the strategy, content, and features for layout of the web sites or business logic flow.

· Define web site architecture, navigation and site maps that serve as a blueprint of the site upon which all other aspects are built.

· Create and manage schematics, process maps, feature lists, visual specification, data flows and other artifacts to describe the intended user experience.

· Work with Quality Assurance to ensure that delivered features match IA-specified system functionality.
